This book holds such a special place in my heart. The author offers the perspective of how children change our view of the world, which is so accurate. Becoming a mom has colored my world in a way I never knew it could. Share this with your babies, and then hold onto it tight. It’s a keeper. ❤️

I read this to my students every year when we discussed animal traits. The book focuses on different parts of animals bodies and how they are used by different species. I love the element of zooming in on the feature on the first page, then zooming out on the second page. The book lends itself to inference skills by having the child detail the enlarged photo and using the clues to guess which animal is being depicted. Great for cognitive development and future reading skills!

This book is perfection! It fully encompasses the reality for children when gaining a new sibling. Your little one will be able to relate to the main character Kate on so many levels. Do not pass this one by when planning for the arrival of a sibling.

This is a great bilingual, ethnic story about the love of a brother for his big sister. I utilized this sweet story to express to S how important and lovely it is to be a big sister. I appreciated that it depicted the siblings older, something S can look forward to.
